“God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.”

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

What is our level of hunger for God? Do we fancy His word and time with Him? Do we favor His presence over other hobbies or pass times? Is the fondness of our relationship with Him a driving force in our life? Are we averse to those things that break our relationship with Him? Do we have disgust and distaste for the things of the world? Or might we slide by with a smile and nod at things God disdains?

Oh God, I pray that my desire and thirst for you be my greatest driving force. May I always chase after you with my heart. Please God, fill me as Matthew 5:6 says. Let your righteousness rule in my life. Amen.
